Postcards are now a novelty
A few decades ago, the eager young traveler would likely have bought postcards to send to loved ones as part of their adventure. Twenty-five years ago, more than 20 million postcards were sold annually. Well, that number has dropped to just 5 or 6 million today, and social media is the main reason for this decline.
Why would anyone take the time to write a postcard when they can just post a picture of themselves with a short caption to show everyone where they are? If millennials do pick up a postcard, it's probably something new for them.

No more future plans
A study revealed that 75% of millennials don't have life insurance. They don't have it because they can't afford it. Not having the money is one thing, but once they realize it's something they might need, considering the options can be intimidating.
One thing millennials don't realize is that the younger you are when you get life insurance, the cheaper it will be in the long run. The life insurance business isn't as big as it used to be, but with proper education, that can change.
